Recently, our pre-k children have been introduced to straw connectors. These are unique building straws that come in two parts; straws and connectors. This building toy allows for students to use their imagination and explore their creativity. As students began creating, I realized their creations could easily be hung up on the ceiling using fishing wire. As soon as I began hanging up one student's work, others began creating their own works of art to be displayed. It's hard to hang a description along with their work. After visiting the Noguchi Museum with my Cool Culture pass, I was inspired to use their technique of informing visitors of the art displayed in the room. Each room contained many different works of art. At the entrance of each room, there was a page that contained pictures and information of each work. I've decided to do the same with our artwork.
